Amy brings a unique combination of forensic architectural expertise and sustainable design knowledge to her work. With over 18 years’ experience, including several years in London investigating high-profile technical disputes, she has developed an exceptional understanding of building fabric, construction methods and the root causes of performance failures. This depth of insight, together with her recently completed MSc in Sustainable Building Design, enables her to develop retrofit and refurbishment strategies that are both creative and highly practical.
She contributes actively to the profession, lecturing on the role of the Principal Designer in small-scale commercial retrofit projects and serving as an external examiner at Westminster University.
